Terms of Service
Last updated: June 9, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of LivingLogos (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
LivingLogos provides real-time sermon transcription and translation tools for churches and ministry organizations. The Service may change, be limited, or be discontinued at our discretion.
3. Accounts
To broadcast a session you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
- Broadcast audio you do not have permission to record or transmit.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the Service’s technical limits.
- Use the Service to send spam, malware, or harassing content.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the audio you broadcast and the transcripts and translations it produces (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you — for example, to transcribe audio, translate transcripts, deliver them to listeners, and store them in your dashboard. We do not sell Your Content or use it to train third-party models.
6. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party processors for speech recognition, translation, and hosting. We work to choose reputable providers, but we are not responsible for outages, errors, or changes in those upstream services. Use of those services is also subject to their respective terms.
7. Fees and billing
The Service may be offered free of charge or at promotional pricing from time to time. We will give reasonable notice before changing the pricing of an existing plan. Fees, when applicable, are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Transcripts and translations are generated by automated systems and may contain errors. Do not rely on the Service as the sole record of doctrinally or legally significant statements. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LivingLogos and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LivingLogos and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to (a) your use of the Service, (b) audio or other content you broadcast or transmit through the Service, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right, including intellectual-property, publicity, or privacy rights. We may assume exclusive control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, in which case you agree to cooperate with our defense.
11. Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content broadcast through the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to hello@livinglogos.app including (a) your contact information; (b) identification of the copyrighted work and of the allegedly infringing material; (c) the URL or other location of the material on the Service; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner; and (f) your physical or electronic signature. We may remove material we determine in good faith to be infringing and may terminate accounts of users we identify as repeat infringers.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision of the Service to you would create undue risk for us or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law).
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, by notice to account owners. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where applicable consumer-protection law grants you a non-waivable right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
15. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@livinglogos.app.
